"GYAAA~HAHAHAHAHA!" came the maniacal, howling laughter of Juugo. "BLOOD AND BONES! SINEW AND GUTS! MORE! MORE! SHOW ME MORE OF YOUR INSIDES! MORE OF YOUR BLOOD! GYAHAHAHAHAHA!"
A third, younger tyrannosaur, a juvenile less than half the size of the other two, staggered, bellowing and rumbling, into the clearing. Its blood streaked all over the undergrowth and foliage, and a sizable gash could be seen in its soft, pale underbelly.
Barreling after it, arms mutated into grotesque axe-like appendages, came the curse seal-originator himself. He was covered in the juvenile rex's blood, howling wildly and gleefully as he swung gray, unnaturally squamous forearms at the moaning, shrieking tyrannosaur's legs and belly and tail.
Sasuke, up in the canopy, saw the female rex lower her head, no longer paying the tiny mammal any mind, to behold the badly injured juvenile and adult male.
She ROARED, a hot primeval rage resonating throughout the forest. Small, burning eyes rolled furiously this way and that, glaring at the ones responsible for this. She lowered her center of gravity, parting massive jaws to reveal a long, muscular black tongue and large, curving, serrated fangs glistening and oozing with thick, foul, reeking saliva.
Sasuke smirked the tiniest bit, seeing his opening. He was in the giant's blind spot.
Lightning struck from the branches, punching straight into the nape of the adult female tyrannosaur's powerful, muscular neck. Sasuke stabbed his hand at the spine of this creature, aiming to punch through the vertebrae and paralyze the beast.
But he was thrown off his mark by the immediate, pained thrashing of the rex the second she felt him pierce her skin. With a single, swift, violent motion she threw Sasuke from her neck. It happened so suddenly that he didn't even have a chance to try and hold on with chakra.
And Sasuke flew several feet through the air, helpless to arrest his momentum. He tried to form the seals for a hawk summoning, but his right hand had been badly twisted when the rex threw him. The fingers couldn't move right for the handseals.
"Damn..." Sasuke muttered as he hurdled towards a very solid-looking tree. "...This is going to smart..."
He winced, anticipating the collision and bracing himself as best he could.
Juugo leaped after the juvenile rex, hooting and gibbering with a brutal mirth flashing from gleaming yellow eyes. Karin looked like she was moving to catch Sasuke, whose trajectory looked like it would intersect quite painfully with that of the juvenile rex, while Suigetsu was desperately trying to drink some of the adult male's blood to regain his strength, having already slit its throat.
