It was an odd coincidence that the three individuals involved in this small story all resembled cast members of the show "Smallville." High school sophomores James and Chloe, now only six inches tall, could have passed for Tom Welling and Kristin Kreuk at any superhero convention. And Amanda bore a remarkable resemblance to Serinda Swan as the actress appeared in the short-lived series "Breakout Kings."
Chloe clung to James tightly as they headed toward their unknown destination. Suddenly the purse stopped and opened up.
When Amanda opened up the purse and saw Chloe and James looking up, clearly frightened, she tried to appear sympathetic to their plight.
"Guys, I'm not going to hurt you," she said in as soft and gentle voice as she could manage. "I brought you home to get you out of the way of any potential harm. And I admit I'm a little curious as well. But I'm going to keep you safe and help figure out what happened to you."
With that said, Amanda reached into her purse and extracted Chloe. Chloe found herself on the desk in Amanda's small but tastefully decorated home office.
Amanda then reached in to pick up James. What happens next?
