You are the soldier James which is stationed at the L.A Air Force Base. But you are by the security unit. After a few weeks, you and your group move out for training in Los Angles. You trained house battles at the edge of the city. You will be commanded back because there is an emergency. The mission is to defended and evacuated. You jump on the truck with your M16 which was your only weapon and about 5 magazines per. You thought it would be an unannounced exercise like last week and was relatively relaxed. Suddenly the truck stops. Your sergeant orders you to get out. You see 3 wooden barricades that are red and white striped and a couple of traffic pylons.
Stg: "You watch out that nobody comes through here. If necessary, shoot with live ammunition. Roger that."
You: "But Sir I am alone. What can I do with no backing??"
Stg:"You are a soldier goddamit! With a gun. Inaddition, the circumstances require because we do not have enough men available and also the police is overwhelmed with the evacuation.
You:"Sir! Yes, Sir!"
The truck drives away and you can only see your mates look confused at you. The truck was around the corner and drives in the direction from the Base. You look around you. There are no people on the street. A few cars stand there. Left behind like something catastrophic happened. You thought: "Why the left me behind alone? Where are the people? And evacuation? From the city? I thought from the Base. Really confusing." You walked the street down with your finger on the trigger. You see some people driving and walking into the city center a few streets away. You walked back to your post. After while you hear something behind you. It was some TVs in a store window. In the read line on the bottom side of the screen stand "Gaint Alien attack"...
