preparation of a conference

Seing it was almost time to leave you thought it would give you some points to say goodbye to your boss.

Not only you felt ridicule having a desk way too high for you but also every coworkers that walked by made you feel like it. You only wished to be back home with Kate, at least she always felt supportive and is nice with you.

You enter Laney's room after shyly knocking on the door. "Hello Mrs Laney, I wondered if you needed something before I go?"

She didn't move her eyes out of her laptop and waved at you to come.

"Yes, is there anything I can help you with m'am?" You asked worried.

"Yes Ron, I've got a reunion call tonight and it might be really stressfull so I thought you could work for your paycheck and stay for a while?"

It didn't please you to stay after your due time, but it was your direct boss that has asked you so you might not have a choice.

"Ok sure I'll stay for a while." You casually said sitting on a chair.

"Ha ha, No Ron that chair is for Julie, she's coming with us. You are supposed to sit here." Laney pointed under her chair.

Laney grabbed your arm and almost forced you to be under her desk. "Good, now you don't move or say a word boy." She casually said as you saw her two long black nyloned soles landing on your face and torso.
And so you stayed, forced to smell her feet after a long day of work.

The worst was when the door opened, you reconized Julie's voice, and even saw her shoes from the other side of the desk. You choose to rub Laney's feet in a prayer not to be denounced.
