Issac turned over the box that Debbie had delivered to him. It was good sized box, but not too heavy. Whatever was in it, must have been relatively light. Vaguely he recalled that his mom had once talked about a sister of hers, but it had been so long ago, he had pretty much forgotten all about it.
"What do you got there?", asked Erika, Issac's roommate as she sleepily walked into the living room of their dorm. Most dorms on campus were same sex, but Issac had ended up in the mixed gender one and had been paired up with Erika. Her long deep brown hair framed a kind face and a wide set of lips. Initially, Issac had been a little uncomfortable living with a girl, but Erika's easygoing nature and her lack of interest in the opposite sex, made living with her a pretty easygoing scenario.
"Oh hey, uh yeah, it's uh, my inheritance, I guess?"
"You guess?", asked Erika, an eyebrow cocked.
"Well, I just found out my aunt passed away, only the thing is, I didn't know I had an aunt. I mean, I remember my mom talking about a sister, but that was so long ago. And not I think thiss fuzzy memory I have of some big woman giving me a hug, I think that might have been her, but that's it, you know? So this is kind of out of the blue."
"Oh weird!," said Erika excitedly. "So you got a package from someone you barely knew! That's so mysterious! You should open it up!"
Issac didn't need to be told twice. Taking a pair of scissors from the kitchen, he carefully cut along the tape and opened up the side labeled, "This Side Up".
Sitting on top of what appeared to be a stack of folded clothes were two envelopes, one labeled "Part 1" and the other "Part 2".
"Ohhhh the plot thickens. Can I look through the clothes while you read the notes?", asked Erika.
"Sure," said Issac, brow furrowed as he considered what was in front of him. "I might as well start with 'Part 1', right?"
