The King looked down at the map and the little clay figourines. It looked busy today. The figurines representing the enemy armies of orcs and dragons and even humans continued to pile up around (and in many cases within) the extensive borders of his kingdom. Family matters could wait. Propping himself up higher in his chair, the king gestured to Hogar to continue his briefing and offered his apologies to the old veteran.
The assembled lords groaned as Hogar flicked back through his stacks of parchment, backtracking twenty minutes into the briefing.
After forty minutes, the king called Hogar endless list of invasions to a premature end. "Let's just focus on one matter of certain doom at a time. Firstly..."
