You'd always loved Lily, your pet Labrador. You'd had her for maybe four years now, and she was a massive part of your life, giving you a reason to excercise and unintentionally providing moral support in tough times just by enjoying being petted.
There was just one problem, though. Lily was rather small, and seemed to be rather stunted in terms of growth, especially for dogs her age. Although she never seemed to mind, of course, you worried what might happen if a larger dog turned aggressive, especially considering the number of dog owners in The city where you lived.
Running a hand through Lily's fur, you lie on your bed and try to fall asleep, which proves to be no easy task due to your fear for your loyal pet's safety. As you were drifting off to sleep you made a wish for Lily to grow, and maybe to be able to talk.
Unbeknownst to you, the wish would come true. Before you finally nod off, you briefly thought of what Lily might be like if she were a giant. The answer was, of course...
