Scott saw Brian's huge blue eye suddenly focus on him, a second later it grew wide.
"COOL!"
"Gah!" Scott covered his Ears "Brian, Don't shout!"
Brian held the car out from his body, far enough away for Scott to see most of his face. The face had a look of concentration, as if the 10 year old was trying to figure something out. Scott was so focused on the boy's face that he was startled when the nail of the boy's index finger crashed through the windshield and hooked itself under the roof of the car. Then , much to his astonishment, The side doors of the Malibu crushed inward as the fingers holding it held it tighter as Brian began to peel back the roof of the car the way you'd peel back the top of a pudding cup. It didn't matter to the 10 year old what was happening to the car.
It was what was inside that interested him.
When enough of the roof was peeled back, Scott found himself tumbling into an awaiting palm as the car was turned upside down. Debris and items that had been in the back seat of the car rained down around him as he struggled to get his bearings. Getting up on his elbows he looked up at the face of his son, he was about to scold the boy when he noticed something. The way he looked at him it was almost as though....
