Link to the rescue?

    by: Kooplan Author IconMail Icon
Zelda was relieved when she saw that it was her closest friend, Link, who had just entered her room. She was just about to get help, but now she thanked her luck that help was seemingly coming to her. She quickly dropped from the Goddess book onto her desk and watched as a giant clad in mostly green garb entered her room.

"Zelda? Are you in here...?" Link asked obliviously as he came into the room.

"Yes! Yes! I'm down here!" Zelda shouted.

Link looked around, suddenly jerking his head around. He'd heard something squeaking in the room, and thinking it might be rats or some other small animal, he looked around to find it. He knew Zelda hated the things, so she'd probably reward him for removing it for her. But, when he layed his eyes on Zelda's desk, he noticed what appeared to be a tiny young woman standing there. He rubbed his eyes in disbelief, the minute girl looked and dressed like Zelda, he couldn't help but think it was her.

"It can't be... Zelda!?" Link exclaimed in shock that the tiny thing could possibly be the goddess reborn.

"Yes! It's me, Link!" Zelda shouted. She was happy to be recognized at last by the giant.

Link barely registered Zelda's response, as her voice was almost too quiet to be heard. He just stared at the miniuature Zelda for a moment before it finally clicked that she was speaking to him. So he sat down on the chair by the desk Zelda was on and carefully got closer to the small girl, and was shocked to see that it really was Zelda, her clothes and style and all, just in a smaller package.

Zelda blushed as Link looked down at her, keeping her head down shyly. It wasn't that she was afraid of Link's size or anything, the size difference simply astounded the shrunken woman, and seeing Link as a comparative giant because of her own mistake was enough to make her blush in embarrassment.

"But, how..?" Link asked at last, softly as to not harm the shrunken girl. Even though he knew Zelda was normally quite capable of taking care of herself, her current size made her look vulnerable, so he didn't want to risk taking any chances.

"Oh!" Zelda squeaked. She looked up at Link, and watched him follow her with his eyes before running off to the book she had found earlier. She then shouted up to him.

"It was this book! I was reading about the Goddess Hylia and found some kind of spell in it and, uh..." Zelda laughed awkwardly as she recalled her foolish behavior from before before continuing on, "I kind of cast it and passed out, and, well, ended up like this!"

"I see.." Link said, folding his arms. A look of relief on his face. "So it can be reversed then?"

"Uhm, I'm not sure. I need your help to find a reversal spell!" Zelda yelled.

"Hmm..." Link seemed to ponder some options in his head, making the shrunken Zelda start to get a little nervous...

You have the following choices:

1. Link agrees to help her

2. Link likes her like this better

3. Link wonders what other spells are in the book
