Pretend you don't know what it is.

"I didn't even know there was something there in the first place." you lie. "Maybe it's best if we leave it alone."

"What are you talking about Link? What if it's one of those new items that the Hands are gonna let loose on us? We could get a leg up on the other fighters by practicing with it before they get to." she said excitedly while going to grab it.

"Yeah...sure...okay. We could do that. But what does it do?" you say anxiously, still pretending to not know about the remote.

"Hmmm...Looks like some sort of remote. Doesn't look like anything I've seen before. Weird labels on the buttons" she says, while examining it in her hand. "Sure wish I had my Power Suit right now. I could have scanned this thing and found out everything it does."

"Oh well. I guess you have to go get it before we can try it out. Right?" you ask, relieved that maybe Samus would leave without using the remote.

"Maybe. But maybe not." she says. "Why don't we just try it out?"

"I don't know. What if we get hurt while trying to find out what it does?" you say, hoping she chose not to use it right now.

1. Samus uses the remote.

2. Samus gets her Power Suit.
