Chapter #3

Well, this is a predicament..

    by: ItsMe Author IconMail Icon
You look down the side of the bed once more. That's going to take too long you figure out By the time I get down Solace will already be making breakfast. You dash for the tail and hold onto it as you attempt to repel down. You close your eyes and slide down the tail as if it was a dangling rope. A smile sneaked onto your face, you were having a lot of fun. You were almost all the way down until you noticed the farther you got, the higher you seemed to be.
You reached the end of the tail and hung on tightly. You were dangling over Solace's body. She leaned up and glared at you with her green eyes. Too tired to think, she bites down softly on the end of her tail, along with you. You hold onto the tail as tight as possible as it disappears outside behind the teeth. "No! Please don't!" You plead. An uninterpreted mumble was the only reply you got before getting swallowed down her esophagus. After moments of slithering down her throat you land in the fleshy prison that will soon be your grave.
The ground shakes below you as Solace lays back down, lightly purring before drifting back into a quiet slumber. This can't be happening! I was so close! You wipe a tear from your eye and pound against the stomach walls. You can feel your strength flee you as you feel the acids burn away your fur, putting you into shock. Damn Your final thought runs through your head. This was the worst thing to happen to a micen, Solace might not even remember eating you. You pass out once more, this time there is no hope of a narrow escape.

THE END.
