"Mom wants a daughter...?" turning pale, you asked.
Again, Mike nodded. "Those clothes you decided to try on are made by a company named PINK." Calmly, he explained. "They are on the forefront of body shaping nanotechnology."
"Meaning..." Wincing, you asked.
Mike sighed. "Look at the mirror again; you filled that bra quite nicely."
You turned to the mirror and screamed as you found two small orbs protruding from your chest. "I'm turning into a girl!" Panicked, you yelled.
"Sorry, sis." Shrugging, Mike said. "I did try to warn you." He then gave you a bemused smile. "On the bright side, you made mom and dad very happy."
"What...?!" Near tears, you demanded.
"Mom now has her daughter, Renee and dad no longer has to argue with her about having another child."
You tried to protest, "But I'm Ra- Ra- Renee."
A squeak of a scream escaped your lips as Mike sadly shook his head. "the same tech that changed your body has also changed your mind." Softly, he said. "Your new name is Renee Smith and you will never again be able to say your old name when referring to yourself."
You began to cry just as mom entered the room and took sight of you. At first, she was confused but then, as she recognized you beamed with delight. "Welcome to the girl's world, Renee." Sweetly, she said. "You have made mommy so very happy."
You began to cry harder as mom pulled you into a warm hug before dad entered and turned to Mike. "Did you..." Raising an eyebrow, he asked.
Mike shook his head. "She did this to herself." Coldly, he said. "You should know the tech does not work when it is forced on."
With that, he left the room as mom continued to hug and comfort you until you had cried yourself to sleep. It was not until the following morning when you woke up to find your bedroom had been redecorated...
