"So what your telling me is your going to turn me into a girl without surgery?" I asked.
"Well, yes" the second agent, a man who looked to be in his mid 50's, said. "but there's a catch"
"What's the catch" I asked.
"You see" the third agent, a woman who looked to be in her early 30's, said, "we are going to be injecting you with a serum that will restructure you DNA so you will appear as though you've been born a girl. With the right medications, it shouldn't be all to painful"
"So what's the good news?" I asked.
"That was the good news" the first agent said.
"You see" the third agent started, "once you've been injected your body will begin to recognize the serum as a harmful subject and build up immunities to it"
"Meaning?" I asked.
"It means that if we were to inject you again in an attempt to change you back your body would reject the serum and you could possibly die" the second agent said.
There was a long and somewhat awkward quietness as I processed what I had just been told. Then the first agent said "we're going to be moving you to Michigan where you will go to school and live with another agent and his family"
"Michigan, why there?" I asked.
"Because you have no family there and from what you've told us you've never traveled there" the third agent said.
"We want you to understand" the second agent said, "this man is wanted in 8 southern states for murder. Half of his murder victims are witnesses"
"I understand. I just need a moment to wrap my head around all this" I said.
"Once we've captured this guy, and we will, you will be aloud to return here to Florida and reconnect with your friends and family" the first agent said.
"Ok then, let's get this started" I said.
They led me into what looked like a standard hospital recovery room. There was a doctor and a nurse, both of whom were female.
"If you could take a seat right here Miles, Nurse Smith will begin the process" the doctor said, gesturing to the bed.
"Alright" I said as I did what I was told.
The nurse proceeded to give me a shot. After about 30 seconds, I began to feel drowsy. "So when is this **yawn** stuff supposed to take effect" I asked.
"That was just something so you'll sleep through your translation" the nurse said. "I don't think your going to want to see yourself changing"
"Oh, alrig" I said as I began to fell asleep. I did however see the nurse inject me with the serum before being out for the count.
