While Krug examines the table, and goes over the thoughts he stole from Boris when he ate his human brain, Krug hears a knock on the front door. Curious, Krug decides to investigate. Krug walks over to the front door, and looks through the keyhole. He sees a nice looking young tween boy standing there. Krug immediately recognizes the boy as Boriss 11-year-old son Kevin. As the boy stands outside knocking on the door again, Krug decides this would be a great time to perform an experiment. He is curious to discover how a young human just entering puberty would handle god like powers.
As the boy stands outside, Krug quickly changes his physical appearance now looking just like Boris. With the ability to access the now dead Boriss mind, Krug not only look like Boris, but Krug can act like him as well. This means Krug knows why the boy is here. For the next few days Boris will have custody of Kevin in accordance with the divorce decree. The Boris looking alien opens the door, looks down at Kevin, smiles, and says, Hello there! Come on in, and make yourself at home. When you are ready there is something I want you to see.
The fake Boris lets the boy in, and securely closes the door behind him. Krug watches as the boy goes up to his bedroom, and puts away his belongings that he brought with him. With the boy busy, Krug decides to enhance the tables powers. Several minutes later, Krug is standing near the table, and watches as Kevin walks into the room. Kevin looks down at the table in amazement as the fake Boris explains its function to the boy. Kevin knows his dad is a fantastic inventor of some pretty incredible things, so the boy believes everything the disguised alien says. The alien creature goes over the functions of the table with the boy.
Krug even goes over some enhancements he made to the table himself, which are the table can now move through time, and space. The table can interact with alien worlds, and the operator can move their huge hands through walls without damaging them. Anything the operators hand grabs a hold of can be moved safely through the wall as well. In addition to that, a tiny human can be returned anywhere still tiny. Kevin is amazed, and decides to try the table out. As the boy plays with his new toy, Krug observes and takes some mental notes, recording everything he sees. Using the table, Kevin with Krugs supervision goes where first?
