Sad-looking Kid (Jennifer Meets Henry)

Jennifer looked around and she saw that one of the ten kids in the room looked a bit sad.

It was a boy, who appeared to be Asian, with blue jeans and a purple T-shirt with a cat face on it.
He was sitting on the floor, frowning, and his eyes were wet, as though he'd been crying.

"Hello, little boy, my name is Jennifer, what's yours?" asked Jennifer.
"My name is Henry," said the boy.
"I notice that you look like you've been crying. Is something bothering you, Henry?" asked Jennifer.

Why is Henry so sad?
