"Well..." Waves her hand as golden letters form in the air
Rule number 1: No wishing for the genie to kill someone.
Rule number 2: The genie cannot make someone fall in love.
Rule number 3: No wishing to change history unless it's an emergency.
Rule number 4: Each wish has a one day time limit before it can be undone by another wish.
Rule number 5: No wishing to become a genie.
Rule number 6: If you wish your genie to be free, you will automatically take his/hers place as the new genie.
The words then vanish after you finished reading them. "Strict set of rules. What happens if one of them gets violated?"
"Such as forcing the genie to do so?" You nod. "The punishment is lost of the genie, any wishes made undone and the perpetrator's memory gets wiped of ever having a genie. And that's for the small offenses. Large ones, like the one we had to instate rule number 3 for, the punishment is more severe, all the above and a life time of bad luck. All set?"
