This wasn't quite the reaction you'd expected. Peter's jock demeanor meant that the two of you didn't tend to socialize much and that he wasn't opposed to picking on people weaker than him. Still, that didn't mean he was a total sadist. Peter is most likely going to want to help you out, which means exposure. With the bracelet that is easily solved, but you want to see which way this current path takes you. You hurriedly say into his ear, "Please don't tell anybody. I want to try to work this out on my own for a little while."
"Ok, little guy, whatever you say." he responds, "Now, you've probably noticed, but I don't smell too good right now.", Peter wiggles his toes and stretches his arm, a hint of armpit hair peeking out of the sleeve, "And I really need to take a shower." Taking the chance you say, "I smell like your feet, I could probably use a wash too."
