This choice: Ray and Mike-Complete Opposites • Go Back... Why not follow Ray (16) and his little brother Mike (10)? Ray is a meek and mild teenager, just barely a year into high school. He doesn't really fit in with anyone, not to mention he's completely useless at sports, and prefers to sit by himself and be left alone. He stands an unassuming five foot five, a bit small for his age, and is skinny as a rail. He tried to work out at one point to put a little muscle on but no matter how much he eats or how much he works out, he stays as small and skinny as ever, leading him to pursue more academic related activities. He has longish shaggy brown hair that tends to hide his face when he's leaning his head down and bright green eyes.
His little brother, on the other hand, is the complete opposite! Outgoing and extremely popular, he has a ton of friends and excels in any sport he tries. The only reason he isn't an integral part of any team he chooses is because he gets bored with spending too much time doing one thing. All of the time spent playing sports has given him a powerful build for such a young kid, lightly defined muscles visible all over his body. Standing at an impressive (for his age) five feet two inches tall, he cuts an impressive figure amongst his smaller, weaker friends, making him a natural leader. He loves to keep his short, black hair gelled up into spikes, various cuts, bruises, and bandages alternately appearing on his body thanks to his rough and tumble lifestyle.
The relationship between the two is amicable, with Mike actually adoring his older brother while Ray slightly resents his younger brother. Being older and yet so much weaker and less effectual takes its toll on Ray's esteem while Mike only sees his wonderful big bro that he wants to spend all his time with. Unfortunately for Ray, Mike is often very insistent and loves to play wrestle with him, pinning him, easily picking him up, comparing himself to him, and calling him nicknames like "squirt" or "little bro" or "tiny" and the like. He does this all with love, eager to protect his older brother, without knowing how much it gets to Ray.
One day, Ray finishes a project he had been working on for years, something to help boost himself, to give him more size and more confidence. Unfortunately for him, this little project ends up in Mike's hands, leading to problems MUCH bigger than Ray could have ever foreseen...
