This choice: Alex Carrigan, Intergalactic Student Abroad • Go Back...Chapter #3Alex Carrigan, Intergalactic Student Abroad by: bobboled   Hey, My names Alex Carrigan, I am an average human male, six feet tall and with short red hair, and after completing my second year at the university I got the chance to study abroad. Usually that is pretty neat, getting to meet other people and exploring new countries. Now, however, the term encompasses a much vaster area than just little old 'Earth'. Students can now chose to travel not only within their own planet, but also across the known galaxy as well. For myself, there were admittedly a couple other places I was looking at to go. Teros, home-world of cybernetics; Eridia, the underwater planet, and even Lucier, the galaxy of fear (has a lot of good metal bands!). However, I knew which one I wanted to go to the most, and once I was told I could go wherever I wanted, there was only one sector to visit; the Velusian Cluster.
I had read about it in recent years, of their comparatively strange culture and even stranger affinity for sex. I had seen a lot of the Velusian populace, both from the news and from the web; their bodies changed and morphed to their desires. Their bodily and sexual freedom appealed to me, not to mention the advanced technologies that they had used to make them intrigued me greatly. I had seen what they could become: men into women, women into men, multiple appendages, no limbs, even a woman who was nothing more than a pair of legs. I saw it all, and wanted it all. Now that i had the chance to go there literally laid out before me, I jumped at the chance.
The terms were made clear to me a month before I left. I would be studying at, and living on several different planets within the system. Each of them was said to be unique in their own way and that I was to respect them all equally as I was also a representative of my planet while I was there. That being said, they also gave me a digital-id card that would match the picture to my current face, 'Just in case' they said with a wink.
