When the light faded, the five kids found themselves into a decor that seemed surreal.
"""W-Where are we?""", yelled the boys.
They were in a large room with red walls and carpet, with two small bridges leading towards two big doors. There were a lot of Japanese looking objects such as slidng doors, tatami and a gold partition with two gaegoyle statues above it.
"D-Do you mean that the wish thing is real?", asked James.
"Yeah! We will be great ninjas!"
"It's not funny Tyler! Look at us. We are clearly not ninjas. I think the coin misunderstood the wish and sent us to a place with ninjas, where we could train.", said Brandon.
"And out of everything you could've wished, it had to be this? You could've asked for anything!"
"What?! Ninjas are awesome. Didn't you guys wished to be ninjas as well?"
"When we were 7 maybe. But now...."
"You wish to become scientists."
Aaron became upset hearing Tyler's remark, with small tears forming in his eyes.
"C'mon. You don't have to be so scared. We are in the most awesome place we've seen so far, and all you do is worry. Are you that scared you want to go to your mom?"
"I-I am not scared! I am not!"
Visibely upset, Aaon yelled and with tears in his eyes, he ran out of the room.
"A-Aron, wait!", yelled James. But he was already gone by the time he said anything.
"Why did you do that?", asked James angrily.
"S-Sorry. I didn't thought he is gonna react like that."
"You know he doesn't like to be called a crybaby. And you had to do it now, when we are somewhere we don't even know."
"I-I am sorry. I really am."
"Guys. Calm down. Let's go after him and then let's leave this place. Tyler, you still have the coin?"
Although he didn't want to leave until he could meet some ninjas, Tyler searched his pockets for the coin. But...
"What? Guys, I can't find it!"
"What?!"
"I think I dropped it when we got here."
While James was really getting mad at Tyler, and Erin was just standing a bit scared, holding her brother's hand ,Brandon said:
"Okay. New plan. James and Tyler go after Aaron, while me and Erin wait here, while looking for the coin."
"Sounds like a plan. Let's go big mouth."
"I said I am sorry."
While the two boys left, looking for Aaron, Erin shyly asked Brandon:
"Big bro, are we going back home?"
"Of course we are. We promised mom and dad we will be back until dinner."
Erin smiled, feeling a bit relieved after her brother reassured her and toghether began looking for the coin.
But what none of them knew was that their place home was erased. The coin changed history so that they weren't born in their world. They were now in a whole new world, and despite Brandon's earlier remark, thew are going to become ninjas.
