nothing happens and you walk back to your house.

Deciding that, despite what looks like a moment of safety, being caught outside is a very, very dangerous idea, you turn around and walk back towards the house. You idly wonder why you weren't effected, but so much other stuff was? Was it all luck of the draw? What could cause this to happen, anyway? With these thoughts filling your head, you don't notice the postman you just pummeled as you head back into the house.

Taking slow, careful steps, you go down to the basement to find that your sister and mom are nowhere to be found! "Mom? Sis?" you call out. No response. Did they...shrink? Or did they leave? Just then, a powerful tremor shakes the whole house. You feel the foundation of the house shake as each subsequent tremor gets stronger and stronger. No time to stick around, you have to book it!
