“Alright, we’ve got nothing to do and no one to see; what an amazing day!” Maxus beamed. He was wearing the same suit he always did, comprise of a white undershirt, a red tie, white gloves, a black jacket and black pants, with several white arrows crisscrossed all over his the jacket and pants with no pattern to see what so ever. His hair was styled in the same strange way, while most of it was short and black, there was also a long strand of white hair framing either side of his face, the left one being much thinner and reaching his shoulder, and the right one only came down to his chin, and was much thicker. “Don’t you all agree?”
“…Not really…it’s…so boring. Normally we’re in some kind of mortal danger, but this…it so boring and calm.” Shoji complained, a gentle breeze blowing by, as if nature itself was trying to agree with him.
Maxus had brought his Wonder Walkers to a forest of blue trees on an alien planet, with no intelligent life, only a few, harmless mammals, and even to someone normal, it was painfully boring.
With the brightest smile imaginable, Maxus whirled around to face his fellow Time Walkers. “That’s exactly why it’s so amazing, when does this ever happen to us? We’ve all been exposed to so much crazy, that it’s become normal. And now that I’m showing you something normal, you think its crazy! I need to slow you all down so I can start suppressing you again! I mean really what’s the point of being so…so…awetastic if there’s no one to ooo and aw at me?”
Flora smirked. “Awetastic?”
“YES, because I’m so awesome and fantastic!”
“You’re something alright.” Alec grumbled. His voice was raspy and cool, quite fitting of his cool-cowboy appearance, especially as he was leaning up against a blue tree with a plant that resembled a blue piece of hay hanging out of his mouth, and his stenson titled to cover part of his face.
“Oh, and like you’re not a piece work yourself Mr. Cool? You look ridicules with thing in you mouth and that thing on your head!” Maxus said as he walked over to Alec. He then took the plant out of Alec’s mouth as well as his hat of his head, and placed them in their respective places on his own body.
“And you think you can pull it off, even in that suit?”
Maxus laughed and tossed his left white lock. “Of course I can! Because on top of being awetastic, I’m also fablicious and coosome; that’s fabulous plus delicious, and cool plus handsome!”
Lucy always got a kick out of Maxus when he acted like that, and it was even more enjoyable when she mocked him for it. “You are the single most flamboyant man I’ve ever met.” Though, her mocking doesn’t typically work.
“Showy and dashing in a self-satisfied way, brightly colored and striking, elaborate or richly decorated, unrestrained by prevailing standards of propriety; I AM THE VERY DEFINITION OF FLAMBOYANT!!!” Maxus proclaimed with way to much enthusiasm.
Completely ignoring Maxus’s display, Olivia wondered what exactly Maxus had planed for their “Vacation of Normality” as Maxus had called it. She was probably the only one who enjoyed the idea. She really did love the adventures they went on, but at a certain point they could get overwhelming. The planet that he had brought them to was nice, but she was hoping for more of a resort type vacation, or maybe an island get away, or really anywhere that she could relax by the water, and maybe finally make a move on that special someone. Eventually, Olivia got tiered of wondering and just asked, “So what do you have in store for us Maxus?”
“I’m glad you asked!” Maxus said with a smile as he took a rolled list out from his pocket and let it come undone, and watched as the impossibly long list rolled out onto and across the blue dirt. “I’ve planed out a string of stops on the best vacation spots in the whole of the universe; from the most posh resorts, to the most exotic of tropical planets, and so much more! I'll even let and each of you choose your own special mini-vacation!”
At the back of the group, Victoria’s face flushed red and she stepped forward a bit. “O-on the mini-vacation’s…will we still be together?”
“Of course, but don’t let that influence your choice, you can pick what ever you want, and I'll force every one tho participate!”
“Uh…well…I want…to go somewhere um…roman-”
“Don’t choose yet! We haven’t finished our last adventure before we take a break! And after that we still need to do a few of the things I planed, then you can choose; hopefully by then, even the Colossal Cyan Chilipoda will scare you!”
Flora glared at Maxus, using her what-the-hell-did-you-do-now face. “…What the hell is a Colossal Cyan Chilipoda?”
“To put it simply, it’s a giant blue centipede!”
“GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWW!!!”
Several weeks later, after defeating a mile long monster, Maxus had taken his Wonder Walkers to their first stop at…
