The maid had promised to show them to some rooms as soon as she put the supplies away, and after fumbling with them several times, Flo offered to help her to keep the blond from slowing down any more, but even with her carrying half the bags, the maid's face was still hidden, and now so was Flo's. "Damn! How the hell can you tell where you’re going?” Flo asked as the maid led them down countless hallways.
“Oh, well…it’s hard to explain. We all just sort of find our way around; you’d have to ask Maxus, I can introduce you to him later.”
“Hmm, would you mind telling us what your name is?” Ariel asked.
Without breaking her stride, the maid replied, “My name is Juliet.”
“What a lovely name!” Said Blaine, his eyes still glued to Juliet’s skirt as he imagined what it was hiding.
Eventually, Juliet stopped outside a door had Ariel open it, revealing an absolutely massive kitchen, with the strawberry blond inside holding a tray with a cup of tea and a bowl of soup. Thankfully, Flo still couldn’t see anything past the bags and didn’t lose her mind.
Until she put the bags down that is.
“YOU,” She yelled, causing the suit wearing woman to raise an eyebrow in confusion. “You better apologize for slamming that door in my face you bitch!” The woman opened her mouth to say something, but closed it back when Flo charged at her.
Without a moments hesitation the servant tossed the tray into the air, spun around Flo’s attack causing her to lose balance and fall to the floor and stomped her foot onto Flo’s chest, all before catching the falling tray without spilling a single drop of soup or tea. With Flo and the others left paralyzed by shock, the servant took the opportunity to cast a spell. “Weaponry Magic: Ruby Rapier!” In the servant’s free hand, a long pointed sword with no edge and cup shaped hilt that appeared to be flawlessly cut from a single ruby that must have been massive in size began to form, and when it was fully materialized, the point was placed as close to Flo’s chest as it could be without it piercing through her. “Juliet, should I execute these intruders?”
“Wait what?!” Juliet was the only one who had missed the attack thanks to the bags, but even when the other servant asked permission to kill their guest, she did not drop the bag. “No, Blake, they aren’t intruders, they’re our guest!” She said as she began to panic.
“Oh, I see; my apologies then Ma’am.” The servant named Blake apologized after taking her foot off Flo, her rapier disappearing soon after. “I should go take these to the Mistress before they begin to cool.” Blake the turned and exited the kitchen, allowing the Guild Mages to recover from shock.
“I...I didn’t expect that bitch to be a Mage! I would never have let that happen if I had known!” Flo said with what started out with shocked tone and expression, but both quickly turned to ones of anger.
“I’m really sorry for the way Blake acted,” Juliet apologized as she finally set down the bags on a counter, still keeping her back to the others even as she unpacked them. “Let’s just say that Blake doesn’t like reacts badly when around people he’s not used to seeing.”
Blaine’s eyes went wide. “That was a guy? Damn, he was hotter than me, and I’m pretty smoking!”
Sandra laughed. “Ha, smoking, fire, hot! I get it!”
“That wasn’t a joke…are you trying to say I’m not attractive!”
“Why, are you getting steamed, hot head? Maybe you need to cool down, we all know how fired up you can--oop, shit!”
When Blaine started chasing Sandra around the kitchen with a sword made of fire, Ariel let out a sigh, and hoped that they wouldn’t be kicked out. “I guess that I am the only one who could actually tell that was a man.”
Flo crossed her arms over her chest. “No, he didn’t have boobs, I noticed right away, I just like bitch better than bastard.” Ariel gave Flo a confused stare but her attention was brought back to Juliet when she started talking again.
“Yes, quite a few people make that mistake, which is one of the reasons for his attitude.” Juliet said before taking one final jar out of a bag. "Alright, I can show you guys to a room now-” Juliet froze when she turned around and saw the Mages for the first time, and after scanning each one of them with her dark brown eyes, she continued with a deep red blush on her face. “Oh…um I-I didn’t realize that you were...so many in number.”
“If that will be a problem then we can leave-”
Juliet shook her head. “N-no, I mean, that’s not what I meant. We have plenty of room here for all of you…” She protested, cutting of Ariel mid sentence. “Uh…I’ll show you to s-some rooms now.” She began to walk out of the kitchen the remaining bag on her arm, but stopped before reaching the door. “Um, before I forget, which one of you was the one who helped me with the bags?” Flo rolled her eyes and let one arm fall from its crossed position across her chest down to her side while she raised the other one. “W-well, thank you very much…um…oh I’m so sorry! I’ve completely forgotten to ask any of your names!”
“That’s okay beautiful, it just didn’t come up; my names Blaine Mages, and that’s my sister Flo.” Blaine said with a sweet tone.
“And I’m Sandra Steel, but you can call me Sandy.” Sandra began as she picked herself up off a charred section of the floor, and once she was fully erect she proceeded to point to each of the other guild members as she introduced them, “Blondie over there is Joel Tucker, but we call him Jolt, the girl in green is Rosanna Thorn, and the one in the pretty white dress is Ariel Skylark!”
“Well…those are all very…unique names. Uh…c-come with me, I’ll show you to your rooms now…again.” Juliet then whipped around and hurried out of the kitchen and the others following soon after, but with Ariel and Blaine lagging a little bit behind.
“Is it me, or is Ms. Juliet behaving more nervously now that she has seen us?”
“Maybe she’s been dumbstruck by my handsomeness!”
Ariel gave Blaine a short glare before quickening her pace to catch up to the others.
It wasn’t until they crossed though twelve hallways, gone up three flights of stairs and then down two that Juliet stopped outside another. “This should be it.” She then opened the door to reveal a very large room, with three beds pushed up against the right wall, and two beds pressed up against the left with a gap between them where a sixth bed could be place, but instead, it was in the middle of the room, where the man in the strange suit laid unconscious. “Oh…looks like he ran out of energy.”
“YOU,” Flo yelled at the sleeping man. “You are defiantly going to get it! And I’m not going to make the same mistake twice, either! Freezing Magic: Ice-”
“Oh that was just dumb. Haven’t you ever heard of letting sleeping dogs lie?”
“W-what,” Once again Flo found herself pinned to the floor by one of the servants, only this time she hadn’t even seen him move or feel him attack. She was just instantly on her front…with the odd man sitting cross legged on her bare back. “Get the hell off of me!” With a wrenching motion Flo sent the butler of her back and got to her feet. “How the fuck do you people keep doing that?!”
“Uh…Flo…” Flo whipped around to the others ready to bite someone’s head off, when she noticed that they were either diverting there gaze, or staring at her frozen in place with slack jaw and flushed in the face.
“…Interesting, to say the least,” Ariel said, her being the only one with a straight face.
“…Oh my…” Juliet said with her head turned, but her eyes locked on Flo.
“Why the hell am I looking?!” Blaine asked more to himself than to the others.
“Damn, attitude or not how is she single?” Sandra questioned.
“They look even bigger now…” Rosanna marveled, a hand resting subconsciously on her flat leather chest plate.
“…Boobs!” Joel shouted as loud as he could.
With her left eye twitching, Flo quickly crossed her arms over her bare chest. “Where…the hell…IS MY TOP,”
“I took it, I noticed it looked a little too small for you, so I got you one that won’t constrict their size as much,” The butler said handing over a darker, admittedly much larger yet equally skimpy bikini top over to Flo and she quickly put it on. “You should replace the rest as well by the way; you are definitely not a D-cup.” Flo threw a punch at the butler, but without even looking he caught it, and continued with her fist clenched tightly in his hand. “Now as for beds, girls on right, guys on left. I was moving the bed to the other side but…well…yeah. Anyway, this will have to do until I can set up more permanent accommodations.”
“Permanent? Maxus, these are guests.” Juliet corrected.
“…Alright, but tell me, did I let them in?”
“NO! You slammed the door in my face!” Flo said, still trying to get free of Maxus’s grasp, and after a shrug of the shoulder, he let her go. Then, without saying another word, he walked to the door, picked Juliet up, slung her over his shoulder and left the guild in the room.
An hour later, someone comes to the guilds room, but who is it?
A cat with gray fur that takes a liking to Flo and Ariel,
The chef Catharine Cook, who has been sent to collect them for dinner, and she's almost as weird as Joel!
(Edit: I made a mistake involving a character in this, and in another storyline, but they're gone now.)
