‘…Owwww…okay, taking my rage out on my desk, not a good idea,’ You thought as you lifted your head off your desk. ‘Only one thing to do: [insert search engine name here].’ You typed in "what to do when there’s nothing to do", and then waited for a result, but when you got them you were surprised. There was only one! Only one result for what to do when there’s nothing to do, that couldn’t be right! But being bored and desperate is a bad combination, and you clicked on it.
“Please insert webcam to continue!” The page asked.
“Huh, must be some kind of random chat thing…well, I have nothing else to do and I barely use that thing anyway.” You reached into a drawer of you desk, pulled out a webcams and plugged it in.
“Synchronizing…connected! Welcome, are you here to play the game?”
(Yes?) (No?)
“They call it a game…is that weird or normal? Whatever, I guess I am.” You clicked on yes and a video of you came onto the screen.
“Fantastic! Please step away from the camera until your whole body is on the screen. This picture will be used as base line for your avatar in game!”
“Oh…it’s an actual game…alright.” You got up form your chair stepped back until the webcam flashed and you went back to your chair.
“You photograph well, avatar customization will come later, first, why don’t you enter a few things about yourself? If you come across a question you don’t want to answer, simply leave it blank and don’t worry, this information will be stored safely and can only be accessed with your permission,” Several questions came onto the screen and you started filling them in. “Wow, you’re and interesting person! Just a few more and we can get started on avatar customization.”
This time only one question came onto the screen, and all you had to do was click on the choices:
