Carrying a sagging gut

"Mark," the man said settling him bulk into the chair. "I'm sorry I had to meet with you this way but I felt that this was the only way to get my proposition to your attention. I won't tell you my name just now because I don't want the consequences if you don't want to work with me. I have a proposition which I think you will find attractive, especially since the government pretty much controlls you. I'd like to gove you an option- a very lucrative option and one which will let you control your life instead of being a government pawn. Wouldn't you like that? Get yourself a decent apartment, a nice car, travel- and, by the way- stop killing people. Interested?"
