Parker stopped dead in his tracks as he found himself standing in the still shadow of a normal sized person. No, it was more accurate to say he was standing in two overlapping shadows of two girls that were nearly the same height.
Wait a second, he knew two girls who fit that description perfectly that just so happened to go to this very school. Parker hoped that his hunch was right as he turned around to see two very different but familiar pairs of footwear. One was a pair of spiky silver sneakers with overlapping blue and purple laces and long white socks stretching out of them, the other was a pair of light blue wedges that started at his height and rose to about five times that.
"No way, is that what I think it is?" a familiar voice asked, confirming Parker's suspicions as he looked up to see that it was Liv who was talking over him with Maddie right behind her looking down at him.
"It can't be, Parker? Is that you?" Maddie asked, her green eyes fixating on the one inch tall boy from behind her enormous glasses, each lenses several time bigger than a bus windshield at his new size. It was quite intimidating for him to see his big sisters literally tower over him at what he estimated to be a few hundred feet tall in comparison to himself.
"Thank god! Maddie, Liv, you need to help me." Parker yelled, waving his arms up in joy by the fact that he was found so quickly by people he had known his entire life.
"What's that? We need to do what?" Liv giggled, taking a slightly more superior tone as she took a step to the side, allowing Maddie to take a step forward. In a quick and rather simple motion Maddie's foot came slamming down onto the hallway floor, covering the distance of an entire basketball court in only one step.
"I think he wants us to help him with something." Maddie teased, following Liv's lead by taking a superior tone with her one inch tall little brother. The athletic giantess got down one one knee, lifting Parker up into the air between her fingertips and dropping him onto her waiting palm.
"This is serious! I built a shrink ray, but it malfunctioned and shrunk me. Now look at me, it would take me forever to walk home by myself." Parker said, as he was brought below his goddess sized sisters gaze. All four of their eyes locking in on him st the center of Maddie's palm, making him wonder what they planed to do next.
"So that's how you got so tiny." Liv giggled, surprised by the fact that Parker could build something straight out of science fiction all by himself.
"Well if that's the case, then I have an idea that will solve this..." Maddie smiled, leaving Parker to wonder what she would say next as she allowed herself a moment of silence.
What is Maddie's idea?
1. "My game is about to start, so I'll just keep you inside my sneaker till the first half ends." -Maddie makes a false promise to Parker that she'd bring him back to his shrink ray to fix it after the first half of her game against her high school rivals, the Ravens.
2. "Since your so worried about walking home, why don't you just catch a ride on Liv. I'm sure she'd be happy to walk you home." Maddie hands Parker to her twin, then when Maddie leaves them alone Liv hides Parker inside her clothing so nobody sees him as she walks or drives home.
3. "I think we should fix your shrinky thingy right now, that way you can come to my game and watch me crush those Ravens." Hiding her true objective of actually shrinking her opponents and playing a game against them by herself.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
