After the invasion Chrysalis had been apprehended, no efforts to get her to confess her reasons failed so they resorted to Princess Luna interrogating her personally, Chrysalis was chained to a table before Luna sat before her "Now then, you are the queen changeling right?" Luna asked
But Chrysalis didn't speak, she sat up looking at Luna "That... voice..." As soon as they saw face to face Luna's color drained, Chrysalis then exploded with rage "YOU LEFT ME!!!" Chrysalis snarled as she lunged despite her restrains keeping her firmly in place, instead of speaking Luna quickly fled before Celestia stopped her
"Luna, what is she talking about?" Celestia asked
"I-I have to go." Luna galloped away
Celestia looked back at the room Luna fled, returning to see the table smashed and Chrysalis panting angrily, Celestia sat down "What did Luna do?" Celestia asked
Chrysalis growled but Celestia could see her face tremble "She... lied!" Chrysalis yelled

Two hours passed, Luna returned and awaited Celestia's return which she did, and as she did Chrysalis was behind her unrestrained
"Guards! The Prisoner's loose!" Luna yelled but Celestia quickly raised her magic over Chrysalis
"No-no. Chrysalis is free to go." Celestia said
"WHAT!?" Luna shouted "Sister, we must speak with you!" Luna pulled Celestia away, as she did Chrysalis looked to her
"I'll be back." Celestia said to her before Luna slammed the door shut
"What are you doing!?" Luna yelled
"What you promised to do." Celestia said evenly
Luna's jaw went slacked

"I pwomise I'll always be your big sis, Chrissie." Luna said patting Chrysalis on the head
Chrysalis smiled "I wove you big sister Woona." Chrysalis said hugging Luna, Chrysalis fitting under Luna's head

"Would you like to be my little sister?" Celestia asked
"Me? A pwincess's little sister?" Luna asked
"Yep." Celestia nodded

"Where'd Woona go?" Chrysalis asked
----
"C-Celestia I was a little kid! I didn't know you'd pick me if you saw Chrysalis! What was I supposed to do!? Rot in that orphanage forever!?" Luna argued
"You promised her, that's reason enough to stand by her. Ever since you abandoned her Chrysalis has spent her whole life trying to find you, and it's torn her up inside." Celestia said
"Exactly! That's why she's a violent criminal who needs to be locked up!" Luna said
"No Luna, that's why she needs a big sister now more then ever." Celestia said
"T-that's crazy!" Luna said
"Is it? The less I treated her like a criminal and more like a kid she's been compliant, friendly and nice. She misses being the little one, to have a big sister to follow." Celestia said
Luna was speechless "I won't hold you accountable for the actions of a fearful child, but I also won't stand by as another little girl is broken up inside. Now if you'll excuse me I promised Chrysalis I'd teach her how to fly a kite." Celestia said as she trotted out of the room as Luna remained dumbstruck
