The rumbling getting closer tells you that someone's coming. When she arrives you see that its Fate. "Hey Fate..." you start, but stop when you see her face. She looks a little nervous, which is something you've never seen on her. Her usually composed face is a little red, like she's blushing. As if she realizes this she quickly shakes it off and begins speaking. "Ahem, hello Tim. How are you?" she asks. She sounds calm, but you can tell she's a little eager to talk to you. It might seem like nothing, but you can spot these subtleties because its so out of character for her. "I'm fine. What brings you here Fate?" you respond. "Oh, nothing. Just wanted to say hi." she says and walks away. When she does you see her face redden.
"Well I guess we know who got the love." Jasmine says. "She was acting a little weird." you note. Then it hits you. Fate may love you now, but she's still Fate. She won't let her emotions control her, so you don't have to worry about her stealing you like Beth or Blake did. "She seemed like a schoolgirl with a crush." Jasmine comments. When you think about it you wonder if Fate has much experience with liking guys. She seems like she doesn't worry about stuff like that and focuses on her job. You've also heard that her mom is pretty tough, so it's not strange to imagine she would keep the guys away. Just as you start feeling safe the rumbling returns and a shadow appears over you.
"Hey again Tim. Are you done with this girl here?" Fate says as she walk up. "My name is Jasmine, and yes, we're about finished." Jasmine tells her. Before you can say anything she starts to walk away. "Sorry if I caused you any trouble Tim." she says as she goes. "What does she mean?" Fate asks. "Nothing." you answer. Fate then picks you up and places you on her palm. She starts to walk forward with you in hand, giving you a chance to observe her. Her face has a triumphant look, like she just made an accomplishment Then your eyes wander lower and see her massive chest just above you. She looks down and catches you staring, causing you to quickly look away. You look and see that she's also looking away, blushing once again. She really is like a girl with a crush.
When Fate arrives at the guard station you see that Beth is there as well. "Hey Beth." you say. She regards you with a quick look and then goes about her business. "Hey Tim." she says. At least she's off your back. You turn your attention back to Fate, who has begun absentmindedly scratching your head. "So uh, what did you bring me here for?" you ask. Fate thinks for a second and then begins stammering. "Well, I..." she says. You figure she wanted to get you to herself but didn't think too far ahead of that. The moment is interrupted by Beth walking out. "Well I guess I'll see you guys later." she says. It must be getting late, so Fate is taking over. She is the night guard after all. What now?
