Chapter #7
Continue with Lisa that night
by: Unknown
"This is a good life." Lisa said to herself. She was lying with her head against the wall inside the jetted tub. The bubbles were going at a steady rate, on a tile next to her was a fine glass of wine and next to it the murder mystery novel Angela was reading. Lisa's first thoughts were to read something more her style, but then she thought that this was Angela's life so she should get used to Angela's things.
After finishing examining her "altered" body, Lisa decided to change into something more comfortable. Luckily she found a pair of sweatpants with a hoodie which wasn't used that often. She felt a bit like her old self dressed like that.
After putting the old clothes in the laundry bin, her tummy rumbled a bit. Lisa was a bit curious about what to cook for herself. Luckily she had helped her mom enough times with dinner to know how to cook. When looking in the refrigerator Lisa noticed the health snacks she kept . "Wonder why she would want to do that? She's got a good enough figure." She mumbled as she found the ingredient for pasta to make. She quickly finished up making the meal and then began to eat. She noticed that while eating she was eating perfectly with fork and knife.
But while eating she looked around herself. The only things around her were the four empty chairs. She suddenly missed home, back home when during dinner the whole family was talking with each other. Suddenly having this quiet mood around, was something she was not used to. No wonder Angela wanted to take her life. "Well I'm going to change that." She promised herself.
After putting the dishes inside the dishwasher Lisa checked out the laptop. She found a sticky note giving the password and that she should tear this note up after reading it. On the laptop wasn't anything special, most was about work-related stuff. Things she should go through tomorrow. Turning the laptop off, she suddenly yawned. This happened to be a long day, a good night sleep was just what she needed. After spending some time in the tub of course.
And here she was sitting now comfortable in her own tub. This would be one of the perks of this life. Lisa grabbed the glass with wine and made out a toast: "To Angela, and that she may enjoy my life to the fullest extent." She took a sip of the wine and continued with the novel.
