Esther concentrates, wanting to get out of this body, especially since she can feel the mental pressure to just go out and be all sexy, which is NOT what she wants to do, least of all in the body of her dad's dream woman. But, changing back to herself doesn't go super well either, and instead she melts as pink slime, a messy bubbling puddle of herself on the kitchen floor. But mom is remarkably chill "Well, that's fine dear, and to be honest, probably better for you right now, you are developing a ton of powers and abilities at this time, all triggered by your mugger. I wish we could find him and thank him. Maybe I won't cancel your credit card right away as a token of appreciation."
Esther is borderline livid at her mom's attitude, though she does have to admit, finding this out now, like this, is waaay better than having her melt on a date with a boy, or turning into his sex kitten fantasy complete with the libido to match. Mom paces, and accidentally steps in her daughter, a squishing noise and mom tsk's but then her eyes widen as the pink puddle slurps into her foot... her eyes widen "Oh it seems like you hav.....
She stops speaking and Esther is confused, not sure where her pink slime body went, but asks mom: "What, what do I...oh, oh my God" and Esther stops talking because it is clearly not her voice, but her mother's speaking, and she turns, looking in the mirror behind the stove and sure enough, her mother's expression is staring back. She yells "DAD!" And he comes running back in, "What is it dear, where's Esther?" Of course he thinks you're mom, because, in his defense, you are, but obviously you aren't. "Dad, it's me, I'm Esther...I turned into a pink goo again, and mom was pacing, talking and accidentally stepped on me, and I got like sucked into her foot" Dad blinks "Wow, liquiform, dream forming, slimeshifting, and form assumption? You certainly scored a ton of abilities and this is all in your first hour or so.... you'll probably have a good 20-30 abilities baby" and he hugs you, which feels stupid weird since you are in your mom's body. "That's swell Dad, but not much help if I am stuck in mom's body, and of course, I dunno where she is" Dad nods "Oh she's fine, just the mental equivalent of a coma... her mind will come right back when you get out of her, with no memory of anything you did as her." You pace a bit "I just possessed my mother and am stuck in her body?" Dad shakes his head "Not possessed, form assumption, it means you just choose a form, any being or even and object, and your essence takes on its place in reality. Like, you don't have access to her memories so you aren't really possessing her, right?" Esther thinks about it, and then eyes widen "Uh, yeah, I do, wow, like I remember when mom found her abilities, and I remember when she met you and your.....ohhhh, aggggh, no, no, no, NO!" you gag a bit, and Dad is worried for the first time ever "Baby, what's wrong?" Esther holds a hand up "Dad, I DO have access to her memories, and I was looking back and remembered....ugh, you're honeymoon, from HER perspective" He blinks and then sputters "Oh, oh...oh gawd, wow, um, sorry, yeah, that has to be really awkward. But you have spirit merge too, which means you can access the mind or anything you form assume, that is a really rare combination, but um...well" he rubs the back of his head. Esther says "What, tell me"
