After a particularly dangerous stunt in an attempt to get their cutiemarks, Rarity, and Applejack were concerned with just how far these fillies were going to go, and it was possible they could seriously injure themselves doing this. So after quite a bit of discussion with the right ponies, name Rarity's parents, and Scootaloo's parents, it was decided that the three of them would be taken back and start over, hopefully they would take things a little easier and just enjoy growing up.
After their discussions it came down to three ponies, Applejack would unbirth her sister, Granny Smith was too old to be doing something like that at her age.
Rarity would unbirth her sister, due to her mother supporting the idea, but flat out refusing to carry Sweetie Belle inside of her again.
And at first they reached out to Rainbow Dash to help with Scootaloo, but Rainbow Dash outright refused to be saddled with any pregnancy, as such they contacted Fluttershy, who was more than willing to help given Scootaloo's parents had given their consent.
With that in mind they needed to figure out how to get the fillies in their bodies.
