The New York Night brought a new type of life to the City, and a lot of it not being of the best variety. This is why Spider-Man was swinging across the skyline, keeping a sharp lookout for any danger that might require his presence to rectify.
"Ah, nothing like a quiet night for once." He sighed as he perched himself atop a ledge, his Spider Mutation from that bite a few years back allowing him to keep a solid purchase even if he had been standing on the horizontal.
And it was a quiet night, no robberies that needed him there, the NYPD dealing with it without needing his help, and no super-powered villains that would force him into action lately.
So when his Spider-Sense kicked him, alerting him to immanent danger, he barely had enough time to bite back a sarcastic remark before turning his attention to the source of said danger.
