“You’d really be okay with being Shelly’s self trapped for life in Michelle’s body, seeing the wrong face in the mirror and thinking with the wrong brain? Lusting after Michelle but having to settle for someone else, for me I hope?”

“Okay with it?” she says. “I don’t think that I could have a happier fate!”

“How?”

“Shelly really did like other girls as much as she liked boys,” says Michelle. Her use of the past tense about Shelly now seems firmly established, and does saying “girls” and “boys” rather than “women” and “men” imply that she thinks Shelly immature or even childish? Maybe. “But sex with girls seemed so... incomplete! Not really satisfying! So she tended to look for guys... and then of course she fell in love with you, Ron! That clinched it for her.”

“I’m not that special...” you say.

“Frankly, neither was Shelly!” says Michelle. “A pretty good match! So here was Shelly, in love with you but still hungering for a cute brainy nerd girl despite that, despite her usual disappointment with girl-on-girl sex... and you buy a potentially permanent bodysuit of her dream girl, thinking it’s merely one of YOUR dream girl...”

“But being stuck as your own feminine ideal?”

“I’m Shelly’s type, Ron, but poor Shelly was not MY type! If you’d put on this girl suit instead of having Shelly put it on, you’d have become the cute brainy chick I am now, but I’m pretty sure as straight a girl as I am! Shelly would have been miserable, with her boyfriend turned into her dream girl but entirely uninterested in her! But by BECOMING me... scrumptious adorkable brainy Michelle is all hers, for life! And so are you!”
