As his heart continued to race over the immeasurable potential the button in his hand had, he looked to what had got him the button in the first place, his computer. Looking at it, he began to look at it and reminisce over all he's done with it...all as he realizes how long he's had it for. The computer has been used for a few years at least, even before he met Hannah, and from a quick glance, it showed. The keys seemed overused at this point, some letters being faded while other keys were a bit stiff to press, and would need more than a simple tap to make them work. Not only that, but using the computer for too long would cause the internal fan to roar loudly, and it was quite the mood killer whenever he was exploring forums with his girlfriend, or even on his own. But despite that, he still had some sentimental attachment to it, since if it wasn't for that computer, he would have never met Hannah, after all. He looked to the button, and back to the computer, and decided he needed to make some changes.
"I wish my computer worked as well as it did when I bought it!"
And with another click of the button, followed by the blinding flash of light, he looks to his computer and stares in awe.
"Holy shit!"
He puts the button down and looks over his computer in joy. His keys all looked brand new, with no issues occurring whenever he tapped them. All the letters and numbers worked, and as he explores all the fixes, he also notices some files on his desktop. He opens them up, and lo and behold, all of the files he opened up were the exact files on the computer prior to the button press, from his assignments for class to some of the buff women images he downloaded for 'safe keeping'. He was ecstatic over how well the computer was touched up, and begins to grin to himself.
"Wow, works like a charm! And not a single loss of data on it! Now, what to do next..."
He looks around the room, and looks to the bed he and Hannah shared. It was a nice bed, sure, but sometimes it could seem a bit too small, or a tad too stiff. He didn't even need to think before he picked up the button, and made another request.
"I wish me and Hannah had a queen...no, King Sized Bed instead of this one!"
The button is pushed once more, and with another flash, he takes a look at the bed, and happily jumps into it. The bed is much larger, and the mattress he lays on feels perfect, with just enough softness to rest in, but just enough firmness to hold someone's weight. He sighs in bliss as he rests on the bed for a little while, before slowly getting up, looking around the apartment, and realizing how out of place the new bed seems. He chuckles to himself as he simply grabs the button, and makes another wish.
"I wish my apartment matched the quality of this bed!"
Another click, another flash, and Jack smiles to himself at how the apartment has changed. The walls were repainted brighter shades of colour, making a more vibrate environment, while the room itself seems to have grown in size. The floor is cleaned up, and as Jack explores the apartment, he discovers more than just changes to the apartment. Checking the bathroom, not only is the toilet clean and upgraded, with the shower being expanded to a bathtub of sorts, but even the toiletries are all changed, seemingly for the better with higher quality products everywhere, from softer, thicker toilet paper to better soap. Exploring more, the clothing he and Hannah owned within the expanded closet are all changed as well, some looking newer than usual, others changing logo and brand to better suit their tastes, with Jack's She-Hulk shirt showing a more dominant and buff She-Hulk posing on the front, causing him to redden a bit upon seeing it. More exploring reveals similar results; the fridge is restocked with some enjoyable sweets and meals, the laundry machines are top of the line, so on and so forth. His apartment has gone from average at worst, to high class and over-the-top. It looked beyond his budget, but with this button in his hand, he couldn't care less. All he could do now was sit back in his chair, relax, and think of what to do next.
