Anna giggled cruelly as she tapped hard against the glass, causing Jourdyn to cry out and recoil in fear.
"Well, hello there." the monstrous girl greeted Jourdyn, her eyes sparkling with delight at Jourdyn's fear. Jourdyn shuddered and swallowed hard, summoning nonexistent courage before replying,
"Wh-who...Who are you?...Wh-what...what do you w-want with me?"
"Oh, you know full well who I am, I know it. I'm pretty hard to forget..." Anna bit her lip and smiled grimly. "But then again, I could help you...Jog your memory..."
"N-NO! No, no! Please...Please!" Jourdyn screamed as she wrapped her arms protectively around her torso.
"Okay, then." Anna put a finger to her lips in thought. "But do you know who I am?"
"...a monster..." Jourdyn replied quietly.
"WHAT?!" Anna snarled as she wrapped her fingers around the glass threateningly, the thin glass the only thing protecting Jourdyn from the giantess' wrath. Anna released the glass and smoothed her hair, quickly regaining her composure. "So maybe you don't remember me..."
"N-no...I-I do...It's just that I...don't know WHO you are..." Jourdyn answered timidly, terrified out of her mind from the day's events.
"I guess I could tell you. My name's Anna."
"I-I'm J-" Jourdyn attempted to introduce herself to her captor but got cut off.
"Jourdyn." Anna stated.
"Wha-...How did you..."
"Oh, I know EVERYTHING about you. You didn't really think my choosing you was random, did you?!"
"What?..." Jourdyn whispered in terror.
"You're seventeen, like me. Born in February. Didn't always live in that town, moved there when you were fifteen. You like One Direction. You've been a vegetarian since 2010. You're lactose intolerant. You-"
Jourdyn's eyes widened with fear. Every single thing this monster had said about her was true. How did she know these things?! Tears began to fall from her eyes as she covered her head with her arms.
"Stop it! STOP IT!" Jourdyn screamed in desperation before she collapsed into a sobbing mess, the sleep deprivation, nightmares, and terrifying reality of her situation taking an enormous toll on her psyche.
"Alright, fine." Anna said as she turned away from her pet.
"Leave me alone...Leave me alone..." Jourdyn muttered over and over to herself, hoping that restating this wish would cause it to happen. Anna gripped the glass in one slender hand and smiled.
"I won't be leaving you alone for a LONG time. Welcome to the rest of your life, my sweet little Jourdyn..."
