If there was any specific part of the day Chihiro loathed the most, it was PE. Physical activity wasn't Chihiro's strong suit, and the PE clothes she had to wear were far too skimpy for her tastes. The shirt wasn't too bad, it was pretty much a simple T-shirt, but the bloomers were what Chihiro couldn't stand. Who had decided that a pair of bloomers only slightly more modest than normal panties was proper attire for high school girls? If Chihiro ever met the person behind that decision she'd... well, she'd have strong words for him.
Still, Chihiro had no say in it. PE was a required class, barring extenuating circumstances, and Chihiro wasn't about to drop out of school just because of one class. It didn't mean Chihiro didn't hate it; she swore she could practically feel the eyes of every boy in the class on her as she ran. Perhaps it was paranoia, but Chihiro didn't care; it was embarrassing and unpleasant. Unbeknownst to Chihiro, however, her unwanted attention had gained her some enemies. Several girls in Chihiro's class were jealous of the shy treasurer, convinced that her timidity was merely an act to entice boys to approach her. Had Chihiro know how they felt, she'd have done everything she could to convince them of the truth: that she really was that timid, that she hated the idea of everyone looking at her, and she'd gladly trade places with any of them if it meant she'd be left alone.
However, Chihiro was unaware of their resentment, and as such she was oblivious to their plotting. The main conspirators, a group of four girls, had been planning their attack for weeks. If Chihiro wanted to be such a tease, they thought, then they'd teach her a lesson in humility. When they were done, she'd have no secrets left to tease anybody with.
