You and Lillian ask the couple sharing the man's body about their predicament.
"Excuse us, sir and ma'am," you say, "but are you two aware of what happened to all of us?"
"As a matter of fact, we are," the man says.
"And we thank the ones for doing this to us," the woman adds.
"What do you mean?" Lillian says. "By the ones, you mean aliens?"
"Of course," the man says.
"Before their presence, we didn't feel close enough." the woman says.
"But now, we wouldn't want it any other way."
You and Lillian look around. You see that the other people are as content with their changes as well.
"By the way, my name is Emmett," the man says. "And this is my wife, Dana."
"Hello," you say. "I'm Eugene, and this is my girlfriend Lillian."
"Pleased to meet you both," Dana says, shaking hands with both of you.
"Hey, we should meet for coffee," Emmett says, handing a piece of paper. "Here is our address."
"Thanks," Lillian says.
"Well, we better get going," Dana says. "It's nice to meet you both."
"Nice to meet you two," you say.
You and Lillian watch as the conjoined couple walk away.
"Apparently the aliens did something that not only changed every human, but made them not mind this change," you say.
"Yeah, it's pretty much the opposite of what one would react," Lillian adds.
"Should we be worried?"
"I don't know. But those two are right. After all, we are closer now."
