Careening through nightmare visions of the future
This choice: Frasier is...well Frasier; she can go from niece aunt to "worst nightmare".  •  Go Back...
Chapter #5

From another perspective...

    by: Simpli Author IconMail Icon
In measured steps, at least thats what you will tell everyone who asks, you arrived at the sickbay, the door opening before by the curtsy of Helena and you stopped and gawked as you saw the large pods dominating the wall of the left side, which had once housed the emergency stasis chambers....which if you remembered it correctly got their own rooms. a deck below now. But what quickly snapped you out of your stupor was the displeased frown your most irritated medical officer was wearing as her gaze fell on you: "Captain!",
she snapped and walked towards you, her white labcoat billowing behind her menancingly as she pushed her glasses up and regarded you angrily. Her grey dyed hair clung to her head in a precise cut with one two bangs framing her cheeks as her blue eyes looked at you indignately.

"I have to announce my protest! I`m your medical officer not...not some...commong plastic surgeon computer!",

she howls and jabs a finger at the pods lining the sides of her sickbay. You can only see some lazy bubbles rising in the green liquid as you follow her pointing and quickly walks towards it, trying to remember what this had been: "The...xeno skins?", you ask after a moment and you get a firm not a moment later. Sighing you try to argue it out peacefully:

"Doctor....with the latest diplomatic missions and closer cooperations Aliens have become....cool, so to speak.",
Frasier frowned lightly but gave you a sharp not after a moment, giving you the chance to continue:
"As I was saying: they are becoming more and more interesting, especially the humanoid ones....even if the others are kind of intruiging for the general citizien too....and our company installed these pods to allow people to craft and then done a nearly perfectly biological costume of any encountered alien race so far."

Frasier gives you a nod again, but this time she angrily asks: "But why here in my sickbay?", she point at the pods again, "Those things should be able to be applied by any half witted dumb AI, just like the human suits, no reason to give me the job!"

"It`s not that easy Doctor.", you try to argue and decide to stroke her ego a little: "These suits are created with a biology in mind that is not as compatible as a normal human one...they need careful application and their removal has to be mode with the utmost surgical care to stop complications from arising....if you do not believe me why don`t we...."

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. ...let me step into one and let you trie?

*Noteb*
2. ...get one of the young officers to test it out?

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
