Beth stalked the city in the shadows. There were a number of super villains in the city and all of them had powers that gave them a completely unfair advantage. However Beth was not stupid. Since she didn't have any super powers she needed an edge. Knowing this she had trained in several martial arts disciplines and was qualified as a black belt in several of them. Not stopping there she also was an amateur tech geek and had developed a number of items that helped her fight crime.
Beth did a mental list of the current gadgets she had on hand.
*Cat Claws - Retractable claws that could let her climb the walls of the city's towering sky scrapers. As a last resort they could be used to lethally defend herself however that was a last resort because Beth didn't believe in killing criminals, they should be brought to justice.
*Cat Nose - This small nose functioned like a full sized gas mask. She knew must of the super villains in the city had stench powers, it paid to be prepared.
*Flash Bangs - She always carried two - they would stun/blind criminals.
*Cat Screech - A specialized whistle that when she blew it it would cause a sharp shrieking nose to be heard, it was sharp enough to shatter glass. It was a weapon that would temporarily incapacitate individuals and leave them deafened.
*Cat suit - The suit itself had anti-ballistic material layered within it. A regular caliber gun was useless against her. A high caliber rifle would leave a horrific bruise and knock her back but it would not penetrate her suit. In addition she could tap her palm to have the suit insert plugs allowing her to use her Cat Screech without harming herself.
Beth noticed a disturbance - someone was breaking into pharmaceutical company's research lab! Beth knew that this particular company was heavily involved with pills designed to lessen flatulence and gas. Beth felt a shiver run down her spine... what if by accident in their research they found away to amplify bad gas? It would make the super villains who relied on stench 10x more powerful!
Beth knew she had to act at once and she also knew she would need her entire arsenal to take down Hippo Girl. The massive villain was a serious threat, her stench that emitted from her open crotch suit would make police useless in a fight against her. Beth raced as fast as she could - ready to try to take down the Hippo Girl!
