Blinking, the blond explorer groaned and rubbed his head. He knew that some artifacts should have been left alone, but this was ridiculous. Something that small had been capable of taking him out for more than a few seconds. Either he wasn't as buff as he thought he was or he was dealing with powerful magic. Either way, Ezreal decided to call it a day. Pulling himself up off the ground he scanned the grass around him. The amulet was nowhere to be seen.
Resisting the urge to hunt further, he gave into his paranoia of being knocked out again and being found by ravaging Noxians. Even an expert like him knew when it was time to stop, head back, and maybe call up Heimer in the academy to see if they had heard of something similar.
Brushing himself off, Ezreal noticed something was a just bit off. For one, things weren't level with his line of sight like usual. A bush nearby that had been up to his waist seemed to only come up to his upper thigh. The explorer knew he didn't any vision problems so the only explanation was landing on the ground had hit him in the head a little too hard. Things didn't just get smaller, right?
Looking up he saw that the Sun was towards east. He'd follow that back to the institute. Jayce was probably wondering where he was. Leaving the patchy, grassy area behind, he began walking, absentmindedly staring at the foliage around him.
