It was as if the world had heard him and responded. A strange springing noise was coming from a room not too far off. Memory told him the room belonged to Ezreal, who on weekends like this usually lounged around with his TPA outfit on instead of his formal battle gear.
Making his way across the hallway was easy, since well, nobody was around at this hour. If Talon had been caught out at this size, who knows what might happen. Dangerous giants roamed his world now and one wrong step could mean the end of him. Luckily being a trained assassin mean he could avoid most dangers, but he still had to be on his guard.
When he did reach Ezreal's room, another obstacle stood in his path. The large wooden door leading into the explorer's place was closed and Talon was far, far, far from being able to reach the handle. Inspecting underneath he was dismayed to find that the bottom bit of the door had only enough room to fit maybe a toothpick in. The room seemed to be sealed shut.
Pressing his ears against the door, Talon heard that sound again. It sounded sort of like a rusty screw or spring. Who knows what was going on in there! Talon was determined to find out.
Looking around he was pleased to see a small crack in the wall just to his right. It seemed like the institute's building was a lot older than he thought. The crack wasn't quite big enough for him to walk through, but he could see the light that shone out from it.
Gathering his strength and then with all his force Talon slammed his body at the crack, hoping to break it just a bit more to get through. His first few attempts proved futile, as being barely more than a few inches tall meant he was too weak to do much. However with his fifth attempt the wall gave in and he crashed through the wall, finding it hollow on the inside before tumbling through, rolling forward as he did. Quickly the assassin stabilized himself, landing on his feet first. Success! He was inside! Quickly as the small dust cloud that he had created disappeared he looked around around at his new surroundings.
