"The only thing to do is put your head on her body, Rebecca," you say. "Are you up for it?"

"Yeah, I could use a body," Rebecca says, "even if it's Mikki's."

"OK." You lift your friend's head above your girlfriend's body and connect both ends. The cut between Rebecca's head and Mikki's body heals. "Rebecca, are you alright?"
