Naruto found himself entangled in a mane of chestnut colored hair that was many times longer than he was tall. His momentum was halted by the ensnaring strands, and came to a stop at halfway down a high ponytail. Disoriented, the ninja could only hang there and swing like a pendulum as his unknowing ride left with the other super powered teenagers. The strain of the journey finally overtook the blond ninja and he had no choice but to sleep as he dangled like a fruit from a vine, buried beneath the giant girl's hair.

As the tiny shinobi hung unnoticed from her ponytail, Kitty Pryde, aka Shadowcat, made her way to the dormitory section of Xavier mansion. She made a straight line for her room, when she was stopped by Nightcrawler and Spyke, who asked her to join them for a movie.
"I'd love to, but, like, I've got to finish my homework."
"But it's Friday..."
"Yeah, but if I finish it now, I've got the rest of the weekend for whatever," she said before waving them off and kept going.
Kitty returned to her room to find that her roommate, Rogue, was absent. Happy for the solitude, the young mutant woman flopped down on her bed, pulled out her text books and began to study.

Naruto came to an hour after his emergence, still tied in thick, brown hair. He tried to gain a feel for his surroundings, only to find what he saw to be unbelievable. He was in a cavernous room that was large enough to hold his entire village, and that the thing he from which he hung was the pulled back hair of some sort of giant. He would have lost it right there if it hadn't been for one thing, he had no idea what would happen to him if he was discovered, so quietly getting to cover was his priority.
As Naruto was climbing down, Kitty was busy with a particularly difficult problem in her homework. Frustration built up as she tried to wrap her head around it, and she finally released it in a roar and shake of her head which whipped her ponytail back and forth. With a violent flip of her hair, Kitty dislodged her concealed passenger. Naruto's body arched through the air, the tiny ninja screamed as he fell until he landed roughly on the mutant girl's textbook.
"What the...?!" Kitty said in surprise, her eyes locked squarely on him.
