"Very well. Rachel dear if you go and get yourself sorted for the box room." you expected them both to leave but instead Grace just puts down the box of girly stuff she had gone to get and went back to painting the room a bright pink.
"What are you doing? This is my room!"
"Oh yes but we paid a lot of money for this paint and stuff and it will be used."
