This choice: Ken's team wins; practice continues as normal • Go Back... Over the next few serves the game went on as if nothing was amiss, for each point Ashley’s team got Kimberly and Katelyn scored one themselves. Eventually the game reached it’s peak with both teams having a total of nine points on the scoreboard, meanwhile Ken was just happy to be alive. It was only his cautiousness that had been keeping him alive so far. One wrong step could have easily meant the end of his life under Kimberly’s socked feet, Katelyn’s bare feet, or even the ball itself when it hit the floor on his side.
“Ok girls, I hope your ready to lose.” Ashley announced confidently, throwing the ball up in the air and serving it over the net to Ken’s side.
“I got it, I got it!” Kimberly announced, her socked foot landing only a few inches away from Ken as she positioned herself under the ball to return it.
Ken looked up as the giantess Asian girl bent her knees before she set the ball towards Katelyn who was waiting to bump the ball back over the net outside Ashley’s spiking range. Kimberly then ran back to her position on the right side of the court, almost forgetting that Ken was still on the floor. Although nearly being step on had become a normal occurrence throughout the course of the game, he just learned to accept it. After all, it’s not like he could stop the five colossal preteens from continuing their practice.
The ball having just missed the tips of Ashley’s fingers was saved by Jordan standing a few feet behind the blonde team captain. Jordan successfully hit the ball to her teammate Jackie, who was able to barely get the ball over the net. Unfortunately the ball was heading directly towards Ken for the second time in a row, prompting Katelyn to begin running in his direction.
“It’s mine!” the blonde titaness said aloud, her bare feet sending vibrations through the gym floor that mimicked earthquakes. Each tremor more powerful than the one before, but she wasn’t gonna make it. Ken looked up to see that the moon like volleyball about to smash into in him. Luckily Katelyn was able to dive for the ball just in the knick of time, saving them from a humiliating defeat which would have obviously been blamed on Ken.
Even with the ball saved Ken was still in danger, now the small ball had been replaced with the body of a giant young girl. Katelyn had looked down just fast enough to see Ken under her, turning just enough so that he wouldn’t be crushed under her chest when she hit the cold unforgiving floor. But this had also sent the ball flying in front of the net, rather than over it. But Kimberly was there for the safe, spiking the ball past Jordan and Ashley for the winning point.
“Whooooo!” Kimberly cheered in victory, doing some funny looking victory dance by sliding her socked feet along the gym floor. Of course she had a good reason to celebrate having won a game that was essentially a three on two match-up with their own coach serving as a handicap.
“Owww, that really hurt you know.” Katelyn said in embarrassment, rubbing her side as she looked down at Ken.
“What did you think you were doing? Standing there and freezing up like that.” she followed up, as if Ken could have done anything to stop the ball.
“I’m sorry Katelyn, are you ok?” Ken asked, hoping to remain on the giant girl’s good side until he could get them to do the tests for his scholarship.
"Whatever little man, just stay out of my way next time." the usually sweet blonde girl spat, rising to her feet. Her feet, hot and sweaty after a long game landed on either side of Ken, each bigger than an eighteen wheel delivery truck. The pungent smell of aged cheese washing over Ken's nostrils as Katelyn towered above him, still rubbing her butt from the fall she took earlier.
"Congratulations girls, you managed to beat us. Very well done." Ashley smiled, walking under the net onto Ken's side.
"Thanks Ashley!" Kimberly said excitedly. having never received praise from her team captain.
"Yea, well some of us did more for this win than others."Katelyn said, pointing down at Ken.
"Don't worry Katelyn, I'm sure you'll get plenty of chances to pay our little coach here. He's stuck at that size until we all want him to be normal again." Ashley smiled, joining her blonde teammate in towering over Ken.
Meanwhile Ken couldn't believe his ears, these girls were planing to keep him at an inch tall for weeks or maybe even months. What would they do to him in that time? Just one practice game of Volleyball between these gigantic girls nearly killed him several times.
What else did they have in store for him? He wondered looking up to see Ashley reaching down for him, her fingers pinching his tiny body, pushing into his chest and back.
"One wrong move and she could crush me!" Ken thought aloud, finding himself level with the eleven year old captain's stomach.
Ashley looked down at Ken and smiled, maybe Ken should be punished for his poor performance in his game against her team. She took a moment to pause before saying "_____________."
1. "I think Ken should have a chance to redeem himself, don't you?" -Ashley puts Ken on a team with Jordan and Jackie, the two smallest girls on the team and the girls begin a second practice game.
2. "Your right Katelyn, why don't you take Ken into the workout gym and teach him a few lessons? Maybe you can toughen him up a bit for the next time we play a game." Katelyn bring Ken into the workout area with something special in mind.
3. "How about we let the coach join us for some team bonding. He might help make things interesting." The girls take out a mat and do all sorts of team building exercises such as trust falls, games, ect. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
