The technician immediately restores the frogs to king and queen. "Sorry about that. There has been a slight technical error in the safety protocols. Normally, you'd get to pick what roles you play but your roles have been assigned randomly instead. Our team is working on it but because virtual time goes faster than real time, what takes minutes in the real world will takes weeks in this virtual world."

Michael protests, "I'm stuck as a slave for weeks?"

"Damien is our first priority since he's proving to cause more technical errors with all his misuse of magic. We normally don't allow little kids to have such powerful roles." Just then, the technician winks out of existence as he's hit by one of Damien's spells.

Then Mom turns into a chicken and Dad yells, "RUN." He barely dodges a blast from Damien's wand. Ryan and Jessica also run.

Michael decides to be brave and get the wand from Damien but before he can act, a guard attaches a leash and drags Michael away. "You heard the king's command. Run." Michael can barely keep up with the guard and the chain chokes him. He has no idea where he is being led.

When they stop running, the guard hands Michael off to someone. "This brand new slave needs to be processed and dressed in more appropriate attire. It is an affront to appear before the king wearing such filthy rags. Have him scrubbed and shaved thoroughly, marked as the king's property, and dressed in a slaves tunic."

The scrubbing and shaving are rough but pleasant at the same time like getting a deep tissue massage. The shaving is thorough. There isn't a single hair left on Michael's entire body. Michael is marked on his forehead and left butt cheek. His tunic is nice but a very simple white linen like a bedsheet turned into an oversized shirt with no sleeves and a large opening for his head. He is also given extremely simple leather shoes but nothing else to wear.
