A red light flashes drawing your attention.

From the corner you see a red led flashing. Something in that sim needs attention. Tapping a few keys, you align the empty pod with that particular game. As you settle back you realise that you didn't even check the name of the game.

It'll be obvious once you enter. You hit the enter key, and the world dissolves around you.

As reality reforms the title of the game appears.

'The Grantham Family Murder', oh, that's one you'd not actually visited before. One of the new arrivals, they can be glitchy, and perhaps the player has hit a bug. But, hey, that's why you're here.

The game will insert you in some minor character and give you the freedom to fix whatever is wrong, or talk to the player... as needed.

Your view starts to swoop forward, diving through the title, flying through an forest filled with oak trees, until a large gothic mansion appears.

The flight slows until you hit a walking pace. Beneath your invisible feet the crunch of gravel. You reach out to open the heavy double doors as the get closer, but you haven't been assigned a body yet.

As you hit the doors it all goes black.... and you're in the game.

Your eyes are closed, but you hear the loud ticking of a clock off to your side. Opening your eyes....
