As you get closer to the room of your little cousin you notice she's talking to herself, probably playing with her toys a bit too loud or something. You decide to say hi since all you have done since entering was just talking with your aunt and get your things in her room.
You gently knock the door and chuckle when you see her face lightning up and throwing herself to hug you
"Patty you're here! how are you? want to play with me?" she said like the usual little energetic girl you remembered, which made you forget about your aunt's warning. She was just playing with her toys! nothing grown up about that
You accept her invitation and forgetting about her previous game decides she wants to play hide and seek with you, taking advantage of how big the house is
"Want to make it interesting" Anna grinned playfully at you
"What do you mean?"
"Well, if I win you will have to do a dare"
"That's not fair, you already know this house" you protested and laughed
"Aww, you're a chicken" Anna teased "Come on, you're bigger and smarter, it should be easy after a few rounds"
You always found hard to say no to her, and this wasn't the exception so you just sighed and agree to a free dare for whoever lost 3 rounds first.
As you played you enjoyed not only bonding with your little cousin but also exploring the different rooms of the house, they certainly were better off than your parents! You also realized you really enjoyed having such a big house to play with and had to concede Anna was right, the first round she found you easily and you had to give up but after that you found better places to hide and started to understand your cousin's preferred sites so the game progressed until the score was 2-2 and it was her turn to seek.
You quickly decided to go downstairs and go to the kitchen when you found your aunt Laura asking you if you were ready to have fun, but you explained the situation and she suggested you should hide in one of the big empty cupboards. You thought it was an excellent place to survive until you heard Anna's voice talking with her mother
"Hi Mom! has Patty been here?"
"Err, no sweetie"
"Ha, I know when you lie, he's here then.. and there is only one good hiding spot here"
You heard her giggling before the cupboard doors opened and you lost the game
"You lost Patty, time for your dare" your little cousin chirped and you sighed
"Ohh, sorry Patty" your aunt felt bad for betraying you and gave you a nervous laugh "I'll make it up to you later" she winked at you which left you wondering what would she do before going back to Anna's room
"Well, I lost.. what do I have to do?" You asked, hoping to do something silly like play dolls with her or who knows
"Let me think, so many fun things to do" Anna started to think what to do with you
