"Come on!" your sister pleaded as she followed you up the stairs to your room.
"No way!" you replied. "I can't believe you'd think I'd be willing to do that!"
Usually, you were always up for helping your sister out, but this was a bridge too far.
"Whatever happened to always being there for each other?" she asked.
Your sister was going on her first date. And she was predictably nervous, and didn't want to go alone. So she had convinced her date to bring a friend and make it a double date, and she was going to bring her best friend along. Unfortunately, her best friend came down with the flu, and will be laid up for a month. And on such short notice, she was having trouble finding a replacement. Which is why she had came upon begging you to join her. As her "sister".
"Why not just tell him to drop the friend and go alone?" you asked.
"Because I need moral support!" she replied.
"Fine, but why can't he find a girl to bring?"
"It's last minute, and I've already asked for so much, I don't want him to think I'm high maintenance!"
You wanted to help her, you really did, but to dress up as a girl and go on a date with a guy? You couldn't do that! But she was your sister...
