Mackenzie's Big Mistake

         Mackenzie knew it was a long shot, but she also knew she’d feel really silly if she went through one of her other options without at least trying it. “I’ve got to at least try all the doors and windows I can get to.”, she murmured to herself. The front door was totally out of the question, as there appeared to be a lawn landscaping crew truck parked across the street, and several men with mowers and trimmers working. Even as desperate as her situation was, she spent a moment imagining them discovering her like this, soft, naked skin on display, with nothing but a book to cover her ample assets with.

         Next she peered through a knothole in the fence separating her yard form her difficult neighbor Diane’s yard. It appeared that Diane was at home today, for whatever reason, which made trying the next available window within reach a tad more dicey. Still, she had to hope that the tall fence would serve to block any view from that yard, so Mackenzie tried that window next. No go. It wouldn’t so much as budge!

         Knowing her back door was locked, Mackenzie decides to try the last window into her house. It’s near the rear, on the Henderson’s side of the house, by the corner where three neighbor yards intersect.
